An energy storage facility will be built in Zenica

The right to build refers to a city building plot of 8,492 square meters, with an initial one-time fee of 100,000 KM.

The city of Zenica has announced  a tender  for the establishment of building rights for the construction and establishment of an energy storage facility with associated facilities in the Business Zone “Zenica 1”,  reports Akta.ba.

This opportunity offers the possibility of building a facility in the Business Zone “Zenica 1”, with the aim of supporting the stability of the electric power system of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the transition to green energy.

The right to build refers to a city building plot of 8,492 square meters, with an initial one-time fee of 100,000 KM.

“The holder of the building right is obliged to pay an annual fee for the established building right, which will be paid once a year, during the entire period of the building right, in the amount that he will offer in the application to this public competition for the establishment of the building right.  The initial amount of the annual fee for the established building right, which the holder of the building right pays once a year until the contract expires, is determined in the amount of 68,400.00 KM”,  it was clarified.

The holder of the construction right who is selected after the public bidding procedure will be bound by the contract on the establishment of the construction right to adjust the monetary amount of the annual compensation from the previous paragraph of this public competition in accordance with the growth of the average annual interest rate in accordance with the agreement on the establishment of the construction right with the latest report of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The right to build, as specified in the competition, is granted for a maximum period of 25 years, with the possibility of an extension of up to an additional ten years, depending on the interests of both parties.

The bidding process will be transparent, and all participants must pay a deposit in the amount of 25,000 KM to ensure the seriousness of the bids. The public opening of bids is planned for November 21, 2024 in the premises of the City Administration of Zenica.
