An art colony was held in the Blidinje Nature Park

All the resulting parts were exhibited after the completion of the colony at the exhibition that took place at the Risovac Ski Slope in Blidinje on September 8, 2024.

From September 2 to 9, 2024, an art colony was held in the Blidinje Nature Park, in which over thirty artists from the countries of the Western Balkans participated.

The Association for Development, Environment and Culture EKO ZH in cooperation with project partners, the NGO Our Action Kotor Montenegro and the Association of Environmental Protection Engineers Novi Sad Serbia realized the project “ECO FRIENDLY COLONY”, which connects young people from the communities of the Western Balkans and realizes their joint action, which will contribute to peace, tolerance, ecology, art and cooperation between communities in every sense.

The project was approved and financed by the Western Balkans Fund. Each of the participants of the colony painted a minimum of two works of art.

The thematic part of the painting opus of this year’s colony was, among other things, the symbols of the Herzegovina region; Blidin landscape, Hajdučka vrata, wild horses and old Herzegovinian stone houses. All the created parts were exhibited after the end of the colony at the exhibition that took place at the Risovac Ski Slope in Blidinje on September 8, 2024.

From October 9, 2024, 35 works of art with the aforementioned theme are presented in the form of a virtual exhibition on the website https://ekozh.org/, which also represents the wealth of artistic expression.

Given that the exhibition is of a humanitarian nature, all those interested can buy a work of art by paying the specified amount directly to the account of organizations recommended by the Organizer. Organizations that are helped in this way, by purchasing an art painting, take care of people with developmental or health problems. This method of action ultimately has a humanitarian purpose, which we strive to make part of our community, the organizers announced. You can get information about individual works of art at the following number: +387 63 465 218.

The exhibition remains open until the end of this year.
