The biggest event of the security industry in Southeast Europe, Adria Security Summit 2024, will be held on October 9 and 10 at the Hills Hotel Convention Center in Sarajevo.
More than 3,000 participants will attend the conference part of the Summit, which will include lectures, presentations, case studies and panel discussions, as well as the exhibition part, where more than 160 exhibitors will present the latest developments in the security sector. The organizer of the Adria Security Summit 2024 is a&s Adria magazine, an expert magazine for complete security solutions that is part of the world’s largest group of security magazines – a&s Group, in cooperation with the professional chambers of the countries of Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia and this year’s host – the Chamber of Security Guards of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Announcing the gathering on behalf of the organizer, Adis Hodžić, pointed out that the collective of the a&s Adria magazine is the proud host of the gathering of the security industry from all over the world.
– Adria Security Summit is a platform for knowledge exchange, discussions on important topics, networking and encouraging cooperation among stakeholders in the sector: manufacturers, distributors, system integrators, service providers and inevitable end users. This year, more than 5,000 business-to-business meetings will be held as part of the Summit, which will contribute to the development of the industry and the creation of new value for the business community – said Hodžić.
He added that a large number of additional guests are expected from Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy and other countries.
– This is an industry that develops every day to meet the needs of the market. The security sector is much more than alarms and surveillance cameras. Its seven branches include commercial security, cyber security, smart devices (Internet of Things), information and communication technologies (ICT), smart solutions, automation and mobility. We will deal with all of them in a certain way at the Adria Security Summit 2024 – emphasized Hodžić and added that the Summit is returning to Sarajevo after nine years during which it was organized once a year throughout the region.
In the exhibition part of the event, visitors will have the opportunity to see solutions from global manufacturers such as Konica Minolta, Bosch, Siemens, Huawei, Canon, Motorola Solutions, Samsung, and others. Following the recognized mission of the Adria Security Summit to encourage progress and recognize outstanding individual and organizational contributions, the novelty of this year’s edition will be the presentation of awards for excellence in the industry. Awards will be given in 10 categories to individuals and organizations that have created new value and innovation in the security industry.
