Adnan Hajrulahović Haad represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at “Weaving International Fashion 2024”, a diplomatic international event in May at Kensington Town Hall in London, where more than 20 countries participated, showing fashion inspired by their national costume and cultural heritage, the Haad Team announced .
The organizers of the event are Young Diplomats from London in cooperation with the Embassy of Kuwait in London. The fashion director of the show is Taiwo Meghoma.
After the fashion show, Haad was also greeted by the mayor of Kensington and Chelsea in London, Preety Hudd, who did not hide her enthusiasm for the fashion show.
“It is always an honor to represent my homeland. I owe a special thanks to the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the United Kingdom and the Secretary of the Embassy, Samra Koričić, for inviting and nominating me to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina, but thanks also go to my wonderful models at the fashion show, Irma Ramić, Edina Hodžić, Igor Memić, Amar Duratović and Dina Kelly. . I am ashamed that I did not know about these five successful people of our country in London. They afforded me wonderful moments and made me very proud”, said Haad after returning from London.
The day after “Weaving International Fashion 2024.” magazine, a reception was arranged for Haad at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in London, when Ambassador Osman Topčagić congratulated him on the successful presentation of our country at this important diplomatic event, but also to discuss future projects and plans of the designer in the United Kingdom.
Haad’s work is available to the public of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the HAAD studio in the heart of the Old Town in Sarajevo, at Brodac 3, every day from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
