A project that erases borders among the youth of Mostar.
With the support of the German Embassy – Sarajevo, another in a series of events was held in the Blagaj Eco Center as part of the project “Bridges of Friendship of Elementary Schools of the City of Mostar”, whose goal is to connect young people through unique ecological and cultural activities.
The project, which has been pushing boundaries for years, once again brought together students from Silvio Strahimir Kranjčević Elementary School and Gnojnica Elementary School.
The education was held at Eco Center Blagaj, where they had an unforgettable experience in nature, with the coordination of the Novi Val Youth Club.

YOUNG PEOPLE LEARN THROUGH EXPERIENCE: THE SYMBOLS OF HERZEGOVINA IN THE FOCUS OF THE WORKSHOP
This time, students had the opportunity to get to know two symbols of Herzegovina’s natural heritage – Herzegovina’s donkeys and griffon vultures! Through interactive and educational workshops, students researched these unique species, learned about their importance and learned about the challenges of preserving the natural resources of this area.
“These activities help students to understand the value of each creature in the ecosystem ,” said project manager Adnan Đuliman, adding that the key lies precisely in young people – their environmental awareness and their understanding of the importance of nature protection.

A common goal is hidden behind the simple idea of educational fellowship: through joint activities, students of different schools, nationalities and cultures build trust, friendships and mutual respect. By participating together in creative workshops, games and team tasks, students learn about the importance of cooperation, togetherness and mutual support.

“Bridges of Friendship of Primary Schools of the City of Mostar” is a project that leaves an indelible mark with its ideas and messages.
The students go home enriched with new knowledge and friendships, and Mostar gains new bridges that are difficult to break down – bridges of friendship, understanding and common concern for nature.
