The black swan, a particularly rare species for the European continent, was filmed in the Željeznica river in Ilidža.
A Klix.ba reader noticed this rare bird today near one of the bridges on the Railway.
Their appearance in Europe is particularly noteworthy, considering that the black swan is a large water bird that is mainly distributed in the area of south-eastern and south-western Australia.

However, as information recently reached the news that a black swan was filmed in East Sarajevo – it is probably the same one.
After passers-by enthusiastically shared photos and videos of this bird, a house was even set up for him on the lake in East Sarajevo.

It has a bright red beak, with a dark edge and tip. Their legs and feet are grey-black. Males are slightly larger than females. The young are grey-brown with feathers with darker edges.
