7th VIVA FILM FESTIVAL IN 20 CITIES IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

Viva Film Festival, under the slogan: ONE FESTIVAL IN ALL CITIES, will be held in the period September 22 – 26 in 20 cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Sarajevo, Kakanj, Vareš, Mostar, Prijedor, Bijeljina, Visoko, Ljubuški, Bihać, Lukavac, Kladanj , Goražde, Višegrad, Orašje, Vitez, Bosanski Petrovac, Prnjavor, Jajce, Konjic and Livno.

The central opening event of the 7th Viva Film Festival, an international festival of religious, ecological, tourist and youth documentary and short films, will be held at the House of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo on September 22, 2021 starting at 19.00 hrs.

After the opening ceremony, the premiere of the documentary-feature film Vučedolska jarebica, by Darko Puharić from Croatia, will be held, starring Armand Assante.

In the official selection of this year’s Viva Film Festival in the categories of tourism, ecology and religion, 31 films from 27 countries will be screened.

The best films in the category of ecological film, according to the expert jury, will receive a gold, silver and bronze butterfly. The best in the category of religion will be awarded gold, silver and bronze award (wood), and for the best tourist films the authors will win a gold, silver and bronze klapa for the best tourist film.

The best film achievement of the 7th VIVA Film Festival will be awarded the prestigious GRAND PRIX.

In the revue part of the festival program, the 10 best youth films made at the VIVA film school in the past few years will be screened. On the last day of the Festival, a review of award-winning films, this year’s winners, will be held in Visoko.

As in previous years, the main media sponsor of the Viva Festival is BHRT, which will broadcast the festival chronicles during the Festival.
