There are so many new positions and occupations, and it’s not completely clear what these job titles/positions mean, what are work obligations and what knowledge and skills are needed for these positions. 🤹
We can’t correct all injustices, but we can start with something – so we start by demystifying the Community Management position in lonac.pro! 👤
🟣 Having in mind that another cycle of internships in lonac.pro is coming to an end, we will begin this call with the experiences of our previous interns and what this internship meant to them. 🙌
Also, read their articles in which they described their lonac.pro adventure. 🎡
Having in mind their articles, we have set high standards that we plan to maintain for the next generations of young people, who will be chosen to work with us, learn, develop their skills and build their careers.
As you can see, internships in our community are not just one item to add to your CV, but a comprehensive program of educating young people about skills and tools that are necessary for any business engagement, and which formal education does not teach.
🟣 You will especially enjoy lonac.pro if:
- You love to write and share good stories and know how to create catchy content;
- You believe that young people from the region can drive change through activism and entrepreneurship;
- You see digital communication as one of the tools that can help us build a better and more equal society;
- You love networking, you have a “CAN DO” attitude and you know how important teamwork is for success of each individual;
- You enjoy online world of digital media, so working from home is not a problem for you.
🟣 If you find yourself in all or at least most of the items listed above, the criteria you need to meet for this internship are:
- You are 18 – 35 years old;
- You come from Bosnia and Herzegovina;
- You find yourself in these skills or you want to improve them: responsibility, propensity for teamwork, proactivity, resourcefulness and independence, eloquence, motivation and thoroughness;
- You follow trends and use social networks and other digital media on a daily basis.
🟣 These are some of the many activities you will engage in that will help you learn how one of the largest regional communities works:
✍️ You will create content – You will go through writing blogs, interviews, social media posts, newsletters… But you will also have full freedom to express yourself creatively in the ways that work best for you. Webinars, podcasts, bets or blogs – the options are numerous, and it’s up to you to create something authentic. It is up to us to provide you with the support, help and tools to make that happen;
💬 You will communicate with the members of lonac.pro and our Facebook group (join us) – You will help them find a call, opportunity, person…, get an answer to a question or some clarification, you will encourage and facilitate interactions among them;
💼 You will participate in team and other meetings – In this way you will get a broader picture of how working in large organizations works;
🔧 You will moderate lonac.pro – This is the “background” part to which access is usually forbidden, but not with us! Here, your analytical part of the personality will shine, you will be able to see what our community looks like on both sides and what needs to be done to make all the processes run as smoothly as possible. Very often we will ask you to test something and help us figure out why it doesn’t work or how it can be improved;
🌐 You will involve in the community as many current and future activists, entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, corporate employees and all relevant groups that can contribute to the quality and progress of the community. In this way, you will gain important contacts and at the same time learn or improve business communication.
🟣 In addition to the listed activities, you will have the opportunity to learn to use the following tools:
- Office365;
- Asana;
- Canva;
- Mixpanel;
- Google Analytics;
- OneDrive;
- SharePoint.
🟣 You don’t think that’s all we offer, do you? 😁 How do you feel about having:
- Ability to manage content, activities and a community of over 63,000 people and a Facebook group with almost 3,000 members;
- Daily mentoring support;
- Opportunity to learn about community building and digital content from people who have experience in this field for at least 1 and at most 3 months;
- Working in a dynamic team (this is not just a phrase, trust me 😃);
- Working 6 hours per day on weekdays, from home;
- Fee of 300 BAM per month;
We won’t promise anything, but if you really impress us during the internship, maybe a job opportunity will open up. 😏 Our community is constantly growing, and Community Manager is not easy to find. 🕵️♂
By now, it has certainly become clear to you that in our community, everything is just not monotonous. Therefore, there are always several activities that need to be done. It is the dream of all multitaskers and those who easily adapt to new projects and changes.
You’re probably wondering why we’re writing all this? In the first place to know before the application itself or know if this is really an internship for you. It is very important to us that everything we do in lonac.pro is transparent, including the expectations and obligations of our interns. Another reason is that if you pass to the next round, we can ask you a few things to see how carefully you read or have read this call because it tells us a lot about your motivation and desire to hang out with us in the coming period. 😏
If you have come to an end of this text, it means that you are really interested in this opportunity and we are glad about that. 😊 It’s okay if this strong text made you tired, so now get up, stretch your legs, eat something … And when you rest, click APPLY/PRIJAVI SE and complete the tasks that will show us how you think, your resourcefulness and motivation. ️ Before that, of course, register.
🟣 The deadline for applications is June 30 (Wednesday) at 23:59. Until July 6 (Tuesday) you will receive information on our decision whether you are passing to the second round or not.
