The City of Sarajevo and Laganoo award 100 free websites/e-commerce websites for entrepreneurs from Sarajevo
The era of the pandemic made it difficult for many businessowners to do business, but it also accelerated the process of digitalization, further emphasizing the need for entrepreneurs to expand their business to virtual space.
The City of Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Laganoo agency, has recognized the need to help entrepreneurs position their business in the online world and adapt to the digital changes that are constantly happening.
In this regard, we are publishing a public call to entrepreneurs for the allocation of 100 websites/e-commerce websites, free development of a website/e-commerce website as well as hosting for a period of one year.
All 100 eligible businesses can choose between a presentation or an e-commerce website. After creating a website or e-commerce website, training on updating and adding new products on the website will be organized. All legal entities that meet the criteria stated in the call have the right to apply.

About the project
This project aims to help the development of business entities in the city of Sarajevo, regardless of the activity and capacity of the company. The City of Sarajevo, in cooperation with the Laganoo agency, has recognized the need to help entrepreneurs position their business in the online world and adapt to the digital changes that are constantly changing. At the moment, when the whole world is transferring to the online space, it is necessary for your business to be up to date with the times and as digital innovations as much as possible. Regardless of what business you are in and what type of service or goods you offer, your business can be conducted online. The online world gives you opportunities to receive paid orders, schedule appointments or consultations, communicate with your customers, or simply present and promote your business. Online business, of which one of the most important segments is online shopping, represents the future of running a business.

– Electronic transactions and payments are made on the spot.
What is provided by this project?
The project provides free website development, as well as hosting services, for 100 businesses in the city of Sarajevo, for a period of one year. Agency for digital and e-commerce services Laganoo in cooperation with the city of Sarajevo will offer its experience and its resources for creating online stores to all interested businessowners. All 100 eligible businesses can choose between a presentation or an e-commerce website. After creating a website or e-commerce website, training on updating the website and adding new products will be organized. All legal entities that meet the following criteria have the right to apply.
What do you need to submit?
Selected businesses will be able to use the above services completely free of charge, which means creating a website, maintaining and hosting the website for the first year.
Legal entities are required to provide the following to Laganoo agency:
- Domain name that can be purchased on www.laganoo.online website (except .ba domains which can be purchased on websites authorized to sell .ba domains),
- Link to active social media profile,
- Company logo
- High quality photos of the product, team or workspace,
- Content: text about the company, products or services,
- Product description and its characteristics.
Conditions for application:
- That the legal entity is registered to perform economic activity,
- To perform activities on the territory of the city of Sarajevo,
- Active social media profile.
- The application deadline is December 2.
Required documentation:
- Brief description of the activity with concrete expected results from the new website;
- If the legal entity has won some awards during its business or achieved certain achievements, it can enclose a certificate with the necessary documentation.
- Marketing plan with a budget for website promotion after the website is created (Marketing plan can be descriptive (500 to 1000 words)).
The necessary documentation must be sent within three weeks from the day of the announcement of the public call.
After that, the received documentation will be analyzed and reviewed in detail. Once the documentation revision has been completed, 100 website winners will be selected to receive detailed instructions for the next steps.
After the complete documentation is reviewed, the city of Sarajevo will inform the public about the winners.
