“Winter Magic in Skenderija” opens its doors to visitors on Monday, November 29, starting at 7 pm on the day when the Skenderija Center was founded.
As part of the Winter Magic, which will last for the next three months, KJP Center Skenderija will present a new winter attraction that will be enjoyed by all visitors – Ice slide Skenderija.
In addition to the ice slide, on an area of 5000 m2 there is also an ice-skating rink of 2500 m2, beautiful decorations, and the management says that they have prepared the most beautiful fairy tale this winter.
“I may be subjective when I say that this winter the plateau of the Skenderija Center will be one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Nothing like this would be possible without the Canton Sarajevo Government, the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Economy and the Canton Sarajevo Assembly (in all mandates in the previous 5 years), which accepted our ideas without thinking and helped co-finance the purchase of equipment that adorns Skenderija,” said Skenderija Center Director Amer Kapo.
He adds that not all the money in the world can help if you do not have hard workers and great experts in the team who do their best to make the citizens of Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina enjoy the charms offered by the Skenderija Center, the symbol of the city of Sarajevo. And such are the workers of the Skenderija Center.
“Today is our birthday and we are giving away free ice skating and access to the slide to all citizens who come to the Skenderija plateau to the opening of the Winter Magic, starting at 19:00. Let’s celebrate together the 52nd anniversary of the symbol of the city, a complex that has marked the lives of many…”, said Kapo.
