The deadline for an internship at IBM Great Minds 2022 is December 15, 2021.
If you are a full-time master’s student at an university in Central or Eastern Europe, the Middle East or Africa with a focus on:
- Artificial intelligence/machine learning
- Applied Mathematics/Computing
- Engineering
- Sciences closely related to biology, botany, zoology, microbiology, biochemistry, physiology and related disciplines
- Chemistry or computer chemistry
- Biology or computer biology
- Neuromorphic Computing/Networks
then this is the right call for you!
And yes, it is very important that you have a good command of English in written and spoken form.
The Great Minds Initiative is a competition for 3 to 6 months of internships at one of IBM’s research labs in Zurich, Nairobi or Johannesburg for students from Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This practice gives you a unique opportunity to work together with world-class scientists in a leading industrial IT research organization.
The internship will take place in 2022. The exact start time and duration will be agreed with the winners individually, taking into account academic obligations and the availability of IBM staff.
IBM will pay the winners a lump sum for travel expenses, as well as compensation that adequately covers the cost of living in Switzerland, Kenya and South Africa. IBM will also provide the necessary visas and work permits for successful candidates, and the winner can be you!
