Mayor of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo dr. Hasan Tanović and the director of the Muslim World League – Regional Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Abdullah Ben Rahmatullah Qari, provided gift vouchers to families in need.
The gift voucher was given to ten people from the veteran population, and all those on the lists, another 190, will be contacted later in order to receive gift vouchers.
These activities are planned within the implementation of the Project for the donation of Ramadan packages in 2021, organized by the humanitarian organization Muslim World League, on the occasion of the month of Ramadan.
The Muslim World League has been providing assistance to the socially disadvantaged population in BiH since 2009. This year, during the month of Ramadan, they planned to distribute about 6,000 gift packages to socially disadvantaged families in BiH.
