We continue with the new edition of the Startup Community Meetup – an event completely dedicated to the startup community!
The October edition of the Startup Community Meetup will take place on Wednesday, October 21st starting at 6pm at the HUB387 premises. As before, for this gathering we have promised to bring you entrepreneurs, startup experts and experts who will inspire you to follow in the entrepreneurial footsteps and thus make a positive impact on your local community.
This month we will hear two inspirational entrepreneurs who will share more details about:
- the importance of listening to your customers and creating businesses with social impact
- and how to expand its business from the Balkans to Europe and beyond
The first speaker is Vildana Begić Mujkić, a successful business development manager with a background in marketing, sales and communications. Vildana began her entrepreneurial journey with the role of director of the MaSta Agency, the first social enterprise in Bosnia and Herzegovina that creates positive stories in the region today. Motivated by the influence of the social enterprise model and motivated by the problem in her community, Vildana started creating her own business ventures: Klinika.ba – a virtual clinic for atopic diseases and Alermed Ltd / Allersan – anti-allergic bedding, a company engaged in medical marketing and production of health products. Today they have a huge impact on thousands of users in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Join us on Wednesday, October 21st to hear more about her entrepreneurial journey and how to create a community around your business.
The second speaker is Maja Miljević, a young expert in entrepreneurship with a background in marketing and the ICT sector. Maja has many years of experience in the development of her startup Zdrava Logika, and she worked as a former director of an IT company and an accelerator for a startup company. She is happy to dedicate her free time as a mentor and facilitator of workshops for startups. She is also the initiator of her own Youtube channel for empowering entrepreneurs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Her latest achievement is working with startup Kiimo, which is rapidly expanding its business across Europe. She has worked with this team as an accelerator mentor, and is currently taking on the role of an advisor who continues to work with the team on their further business development outside the Balkans. Maja will tell us more about their journey from the beginning of creating their startup solution to expanding their business in countries outside the Balkans.
