The official promotion of the project “Enjoy Sarajevo – Romanija Region”, within which the first flight with a tourist balloon will take place, will be held on Friday, June 18 in the sports and recreation center Brus on Trebević.
This is one of the activities within the “Enjoy Sarajevo-Romanija Region” project, which aims to develop tourism in this region through the creation of new tourism products and their promotion on the international market.
The focus will be on equipping outdoor locations, and strengthening the capacity of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises within tourism and the internationalization of their tourist offer.
The project “Enjoy Sarajevo-Romanija Region” within the EU4Business project is implemented by the Tourist Organization of Jahorina, the City Development Agency of East Sarajevo (RAIS), the Chamber of Commerce of Republika Srpska (PKRS) and the business entity Stanišić.
EU4Business is a project of the European Union which, with the aim of strengthening the economy of BiH, encourages the development of targeted sectors. The total value is 16.1 million euros, and it is jointly financed by the European Union (with 15 million euros) and the Federal Republic of Germany (with 1.1 million euros). It is implemented jointly by GIZ, ILO and UNDP, from April 2018 to March 2022.
