The month of October is marked worldwide as the book month. This month, special attention is being paid to the importance of books and reading. Promoting the importance of reading, especially among children, is aimed at nurturing the love of reading because it is extremely important for the development of literacy, which also encourages the development of culture, especially among children.
MI-BOSPO gladly supports projects and initiatives of institutions that are closely related to education and work with children, and raise awareness of the importance of education, reading and literacy. One of such projects supported by MI-BOSPO is the project of the Public Institution “Public Library” “Gifts to the World of Books”.
Today they visited the Public Institution “Public Library” Banovići, where the awarding of membership cards to students of the I2 class of the Public Institution Elementary School “Banovići” from Banovići was organized. Mirsada Leto and Mevludin Hadžić, representatives of MI-BOSPO, awarded membership cards to children. The children were extremely happy during the membership card ceremony. As a sign of gratitude, the students recited the song “Dreams in Books”, and we rewarded their performance with loud applause.

We are very grateful for the support of this very important project, which has enabled children to develop love of reading from an early age, which will be of great benefit to them in their lifelong learning.” – said Mr. Edis Hodžić, director of the Public Institution “Public Library”.
It was a pleasure to attend today’s ceremony, to be a part of this story, because children are our future, our wealth. MI-BOSPO wishes them a happy and beautiful childhood, and that they spend as much time with books as possible because books are best friends and life companions.
