The Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board published a public call “Sarajevo Winter Fest” for the award of grants to programs and projects important for the development and promotion of tourism in Sarajevo Canton, which will be implemented in the period from December 25, 2021 – March 21, 2022.
Sarajevo Winter Fest is intended for programs and projects whose implementation is aimed at development of new tourism initiatives, ideas and products, which will offer tourists and citizens interesting content and ensure the extension of the winter tourist season in Sarajevo Canton.
Through the award of grants, the Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board will co-finance projects in the field of tourism, culture, sports, entertainment, gastronomy, ecology and New Year’s decoration.
The funds are intended for legal entities and natural persons (crafts) that are registered to perform tourism activities or that are directly and indirectly through their programs, projects and activities aimed at the development, improvement and promotion of tourism in Sarajevo Canton.
Also, the funds are intended for local self-government units, cities and municipalities, which through programs and projects provide additional facilities for the local community thus improving the tourist offer and developing new tourist potentials, especially local communities with the highest number of tourists overnight stays with the aim of intensive tourism development.
