AND IT’S A WRAP!
The SIGNS of Solidarity and Solution conference took place on November 17 and 18, bringing forth many thought-provoking and action-oriented philanthropic ideas and dialogues.
-The conference hosted philanthropists, representatives of corporate and private foundations, media, companies, and academia from all over the region.
It highlighted inspiring and credible participants who – through seven panel discussions – sent out strong messages about philanthropy, the role of the media in seeking and broadcasting good news, the challenges facing the private sector & civil society organizations, as well as individuals and companies engaged in philanthropic giving.
-We are proud to have the winners of the first SIGN Regional Philanthropy Award! For their outstanding philanthropic efforts and achievements, MK Group LTD from Serbia was awarded the SIGN Regional Corporate Philanthropy Award and Hajriz Hačko Brčvak (founder of Hemiias e. V.) the SIGN Regional Individual Philanthropy award.
-The jury also awarded the SIGN Special Philanthropy Award for Small and Medium Enterprises to MEKA HALAL FOOD from Kosovo, as well as the SIGN Special Award for Philanthropic Contribution to Science and Education – to Fondacija Alek Kavčić.
-We congratulate to all Award winners, but also to all nominees for their selfless and wholehearted contribution to good and communities all around the region.
