The USAID/INSPIRE Human Rights Support Program

The USAID/INSPIRE Human Rights Support Program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), invites civil society organizations to apply for the development and capacity building training program. By providing this type of support to non-governmental organizations, we want to build capacities for the promotion and protection of the rights of underrepresented citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Training:

The training on the topic of LGBTQI Rights will be held in the period from 6 to 7 May 2021.

Persons in charge of promoting and protection of the rights of LGBTQI persons and other marginalized categories in their organizations are eligible. The trainings are designed in a way to strengthen all organization’s structure levels.

Each organization can delegate 1 representative.

Please note that these are individual applications, i.e., that applications are filled out by individuals, each for himself/herself, and not by the organization.

Technical information:

This training will be held in Jahorina. The costs of food and accommodation during the training, as well as travel expenses will be covered by the organizer. Accommodation is provided in single-bed rooms.

The registered participants will be provided with the agenda, technical information, request for reimbursement of travel expenses, as well as all other necessary information about the training in a timely manner via e-mail.

We ask all participants who have specific requirements (e.g., diet, wheelchair access, accommodation for an assistant, etc.) to state this in the application form, field “Additional comments”.

IMPORTANT: During the training, all measures for prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 virus decided and brought in force by the competent Crisis Headquarters will be followed.

Photos made at the Rights of LGBTQI persons training will not be published and will only be used to monitor USAID activities.

We encourage you to complete your application as soon as possible. Once all vacancies have been filled, the application link will no longer be operational.

The call for trainings is a closed-type call, and is intended for organizations that are part of the USAID/INSPIRE program, as well as partners of other programs funded by USAID. However, in case there are free vacancies, the organizer will open the invitation for public, for other organizations that are interested.
