The Municipality of Stari Grad has published a list of the best business plans that will be financed in 2021

The Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, through the Service for Local Development and Local Community Affairs, conducted a public call for financing and co-financing the best business plans for 2021, with the aim of developing entrepreneurship and employment of vulnerable categories of the population, including youth, unemployed, women and persons with disabilities.

The Public call received 30 applications, i.e., business plans. All received business plans were reviewed and evaluated by the Commission for evaluation and selection of the best business plans in accordance with the Ordinance on the allocation of funds for Start-up business, it was stated from this Municipality.

Of the 30 applications received, nine applications received the required number of points to be considered for financial support, four applications received insufficient points to be considered for funding, while 16 business plans were disqualified from further evaluation process due to non-compliance with the Public call and one beneficiary withdrew from the contract.

Business plans that received 65 or more points were considered for financing, because business plans below this threshold were not able to meet the set standards.

A total amount of about 65,000 BAM will be allocated for financing from the Budget of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo for 2021, i.e., co-financing the best business plans that will be implemented in the Municipality of Stari Grad during 2021.

The signing of the contracts with the selected beneficiaries will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at 10:00 am, in the meeting room of the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo.
