The LiNK Association invites entrepreneurs to apply for subsidies from the Herzegovina-Neretva Government

The Association for Entrepreneurship and Business LiNK invited small and medium-sized enterprises in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNŽ) to apply for a public call for selection of beneficiaries of the Ministry of Economy HNŽ from the position “Subsidies to private companies and entrepreneurs (by Government decision)” budget for this year.

The Cantonal Ministry of Economy is awarding grants to private companies and entrepreneurs through a program of subsidies, the Association said.

Funds will be allocated according to the established criteria through three LOTs, i.e., through incentives for start-up entrepreneurs, support for technological development and digitalization, and support for crafts, old and traditional activities.

The incentive for start-up entrepreneurs aims to increase the number of small businesses in the HNŽ and create new jobs.

Through incentives for technological development and digitalization, production capacities will be increased and modernized. The goal is to digitize business processes through investments in the development and procurement of new technologies, which lead to the creation of new or improvement of existing products, improving the efficiency and economy of production and creating products with greater added value, digitalization of individual processes and digital market access.

By encouraging crafts, old and traditional activities, the goal is to preserve crafts, craft skills and the ability to perform activities with predominantly crafts, as well as the preservation of cultural and historical heritage.

The Association for Entrepreneurship and Business LiNK points out that assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises in the pandemic period is very important, although the funds are limited in accordance with current budgetary possibilities.

Any support from the HNŽ Government to entrepreneurship during the pandemic is welcome, but we believe that more funds should be allocated in the future to start new businesses and maintain existing ones,” said Tomislav Majić, president of the Association for Entrepreneurship and Business LiNK Mostar.
