October 16, World Resuscitation Day in Mostar

On October 16, the World Resuscitation Day, a global campaign titled “World restart a heart” is being implemented, recommended by the World Health Organization, the European Parliament, the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation and the European Resuscitation Council. The campaign aims to raise awareness among citizens about the importance of starting resuscitation and help early, all with the goal of having many more lives saved.
                    This year, the Association of Emergency Medical Technicians of the FBIH in partnership with the Association for Education and Development “Dignitet” joins many world organizations and institutions in celebrating this important date. The program includes presentations and workshops for citizens, children and youth in several cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In Mostar, the event will be held on October 15, 2021 (Friday) on Spanish Square, starting at 10:00 am, as well as near the Grammar High School.
The planned presentations and workshops will be primarily dedicated to children and are in line with the global project “Kids save lives” which is supported and recommended by the World Health Organization, the European Parliament and the European Resuscitation Council.
