Mostar gets community wardens

Four community wardens will be engaged in monitoring compliance with the communal order in Mostar at the beginning of next month.

After the period of mandatory training, which includes familiarizing with their authorities, as well as the scope of responsibilities and regulations governing the matter that will be subject to their supervision, community wardens will begin to perform their work tasks provided by the Law on Communal Services of Mostar.

On May 10, community wardens should start performing regular work tasks, in the function of supervising the compliance with the communal order in the City of Mostar with the aim of proper arrangement, maintenance, use, protection and preservation of public areas.

Department of Economy, Utilities and Inspection Affairs reminds that the competence of community wardens is in the area of ​​supervision over the implementation of the provisions of the Decision on communal order, and the authorizations are prescribed by the Law on Communal Activities.

The implemented activities of establishing community wardens in the City of Mostar, which will certainly justify their existence, and the daily engagement of community wardens in the City of Mostar, will create preconditions for a better life for all citizens, who will have the opportunity to realize their demands faster and more efficiently in cases of protection and preservation of public areas.
