As part of the second phase of the Hemofarm campaign, “Superheroes wear masks under their eyes”, the funds raised from the sale of probiotics were used to purchase equipment for four other health institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On this occasion, 1,800 pieces of fast antigen tests and 2,000 packages of disinfectants were donated to health centers in Trebinje, Tešanj, Gradačac and Modriča worth about 40,000 BAM.

– I can say that superheroes continue in a similar rhythm. Also, I would like to announce the continuation of the action within which, from May to July, we will continue to allocate part of the funds for health institutions in the country, but now from the sale of Hemofarm vitamins and minerals, Magnetrans, Imunocinka, Polivita b plus the Eunova Duo Protect K2D3. This is simply our reaction to the extremely positive feedback from health professionals and citizens that confirmed to us that we are doing a good thing and thus provided us with a sufficient reason to continue. It is vitamins and minerals that are essential, not only in the prevention and therapy of COVID-19, but in post-COVID states of fatigue and energy recovery. I believe we do not discuss enough about post-COVID therapy, and it is this type of rehabilitation and supplementation with certain vitamins and minerals that is extremely important for the recovery of patients. I hope that we will all continue this successful action together – said Saša Urošević, director of Hemofarm Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the first phase of the action “Superheroes wear masks under their eyes”, help with protective equipment was donated to health institutions, while the second phase was reflected in the donation of fast antigen tests and disinfectants.

– I would like to thank Hemofarm for this action as well as for the help provided. Rapid antigen tests will be of great help to us in the assessment of vaccination, i.e., the assessment for further processing of patients. Vaccination assessment is very important to us in order not to vaccinate patients who are currently positive for COVID-19 and do not have any symptoms. I hope that there will be similar actions in the next period as well – said Dr. Alma Šakić, director of the Gradačac Health Center.

Since November 2020 (the beginning of the action “Superheroes wear masks under their eyes”), assistance in protective equipment has been provided for 14 health institutions in BiH with a total value of around 80,000 BAM.
