Athletes United in a Humanitarian Mission

(Sarajevo, January 24, 2022) OKK SPARS joined the humanitarian mission of the Pomozi.ba Association, which played a championship match against KK Borac from Banja Luka over the weekend and donated all funds collected from the sale of tickets to the Fund for the sick citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina of the Pomozi.ba Association.

OKK SPARS won against the leader of the championship, the great Banja Luka team, with the result 74:68. Unfortunately, due to epidemiological measures, a large number of spectators did not attend the match, so 390 BAM were collected from the tickets, which will be paid to the bank account of our Fund for the sick citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The cooperation between OKK SPRS and Pomozi.ba will continue, considering that the Sarajevo team will promote our humanitarian number 17021 at all domestic matches. By calling this number, all citizens donate 2 BAM to the Fund for the sick citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We thank OKK SPARS for their kindness and congratulate them on their victory. Another Sarajevo team joined our project “United Athletes in a Humane Mission”, KK Bosna Royal, which despite all its financial problems of the club, decided to show their humane side.

“Students” have informed all their fans that 50% of the income from membership cards will be paid to the account Pomozi.ba, and from February at home games, donor tickets will be available, from which the entire income will be paid for our sick citizens of BiH.

Together with OKK SPARS, KK Bosna Royal, KK Turbina Jablanica, NK Stupčanica, GFC Sarajevo, Futsal Club Željezničar, who took part in the humanitarian project, we invite all other sports teams to participate in the project “Athletes United in a Humanitarian Mission”.
