Applications for the 5th eUPSHIFT workshop in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Opportunity for youth in the northeast of Republika Srpska

eUPSHIFT is an online workshop for teams of young people aged 13 to 19, who are aware of problems in their local communities and want to work on solving it. Through eUPSHIFT and with the support of mentors and trainers, teams learn how to design a solution to a problem and compete for cash prizes in the amount of 3000 BAM each with which they can implement their solutions.

Young people aged 13 to 19 can apply in teams of three to five members from the municipalities of Bijeljina, Šamac, Bratunac, Foča, Zvornik and Višegrad and their surroundings. Applications will be open from November 15 – December 13, and the workshop will be held from March 13 – 20, 2022.

In particular, young people from marginalized groups such as members of the Roma population or other ethnic minorities, young people with disabilities, young people without parental care, and young people from families of low socio-economic status are invited and encouraged to apply.

While applications are open, there will be 8 Zoom info sessions where everyone will have the opportunity to learn more about the program and how to apply and to ask anything they are interested in about the eUPSHIFT workshop. Dates and links for Zoom info sessions and registration procedure for the workshop can be found on the UPSHIFT website in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
