We are excited to announce the call for participants for RCOY Europe 2024 – the European Youth Climate Conference!
RCOY Europe 2024 will be a 3-day event, happening from 10th-12th May 2024 in Vienna, Austria!
The conference will take place at BOKU Vienna (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna).
Organised by a diverse group of young climate advocates from all over Europe under the umbrella of YOUNGO, the official children and youth constituency to the UNFCCC, RCOY (Regional Conference of Youth) Europe is a regional climate conference meant to bring all European youth together to connect, share experiences and discuss climate-related topics together with guest experts. Be it through workshops, lectures, panel discussions or other formats – there will be plenty of time and opportunity to learn and gain new insights and, of course, to network with other young activists and climate enthusiasts.
The conference will culminate in the drafting of a European Youth Statement, reflecting our collective demands for the upcoming SBs (Bonn Climate Conference) and COP29.
Children and youth aged 14-35 from the following countries are cordially invited to apply:
Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Vatican City
We will aim to have at least 2 delegates from each country present at the RCOY Europe and look very much forward to your application!
