The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the BMW Group, with the support of Accenture, launched the call for applications for the Intercultural Innovation Hub. Grassroots initiatives that encourage intercultural understanding and promote inclusive and diverse societies through innovative methods are encouraged to apply online at www.interculturalinnovation.org. This year, the deadline for applications is Friday December 2nd, at 5:00 PM EDT.
Following a competitive process, up to ten organizations will be selected. Based on their needs, recipients will receive a monetary grant (up to 20,000 USD) to help their projects expand and replicate. They will also benefit from a one-year mentoring program, which will include capacity-building training in a multitude of areas, from communications to fundraising and project management. Recipients of the Intercultural Innovation Hub will also become members of Intercultural Leaders, an exclusive skills and knowledge-sharing platform developed by UNAOC and BMW Group for civil society organizations and young leaders working on promoting intercultural dialogue worldwide.
